Payment Policies
You are on the path to discovery, healing, and growth.
At Wellspring Counseling and Coaching, we believe that access to quality, evidence-based care should be straightforward and transparent. We want you to feel confident and informed about the financial aspects of your care before beginning services.
Private Pay
We offer private pay sessions at a rate of $106 per 50–60 minute session.
Private pay allows you to work directly with your therapist without involving insurance, offering greater flexibility and privacy in your care.
Insurance
Wellspring Counseling and Coaching accepts several major insurance carriers. Coverage and out-of-pocket costs vary by plan, so we recommend verifying your mental health benefits with your insurance provider before your first session.
Our team can assist you with billing questions or help you understand what to expect from your coverage. Please note that clients are responsible for any copays, coinsurance, or deductible amounts as determined by their plan.
Payment Methods
For private pay clients, payment is due at the time of service and will be processed within 48 business hours of the appointment.
For clients using insurance, any copay (if applicable) is due at the time of service. After your insurance company processes the claim and issues an Explanation of Benefits (EOB), any remaining coinsurance or deductible amount will be billed to your payment method on file within 48 business hours of receiving the EOB.
Cancellations and No-Shows
To respect your therapist’s time and ensure availability for other clients, we require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice—or missed without notice—may be subject to a late cancellation or no-show fee.
Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected cost of your care if you are not using insurance (private pay or self-pay clients).
Upon request—or before your first appointment—you will receive a written estimate outlining the expected charges for your sessions. This estimate is not a contract or guarantee of total costs, as the length and frequency of therapy vary by individual need.
If you receive a bill that is $400 or more above your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the charge. For questions or more information about your rights, visit
www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.Online billing and payments make it easy and convenient for you. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about session fees or billing.
